What now?Posted on May 21, 2010 3:52 pm by SusieThank you everyone for your comments. Though it's hard to read peoples negative comments on the ZMT ending, I understand that your comments come from the heart and for your love of ZMT. Thank you so much for following us from beginning to end. I thought it might be helpful to provide a bit of backstory so you understand the context of this ending and the reason we went the direction we did.
To many of us, the show represented a lot of negative energy because the star was no longer taking part in the show. Continuing to run a show called "Zarbon's Masterpiece Theater" without Zarbon just made little sense to most of us. So we decided we wanted to put our creative energies into something fresh and new.
Jason Barbour and Michael Toews came up with a great concept for a new series that would parody anime in general, allowing us to expand beyond the realm of Dragon Ball Z. Unfortunately, the team couldn't make the time commitments to follow through with it and we'll likely shelve the project until more of us can work on it again.
Since then, my creative energies have been put into my job (it pays the bills after all) and in coding PaperDemon. Not to mention planning my wedding.
My future animation plans are looking to Surviving Together. It's a project that is still in my heart and has been on my mind for the last 8 years. I get emails from people all the time asking when it will be completed and it reminds me of how much I loved that story when I read it the first time LavenderGoddessV wrote it.
This story needs to be told.
Tonight, I'm going to organize myself again and try to pick up where I last left off. However, it would be extremely helpful to have a team of people to assist in watching over the creation of Surviving Together. If you are interested in reviewing storyboards, rough animations, etc, please contact me at bogusred@paperdemon.com and I'll add you to the mailing list.
Thank you everyone for your support and please stay tuned.

And we are ready for some new ZMT action. The latest episode, starring Brolly, has just been released. And soon we'll be releasing the big Finale, starring none other than Goku!
We are also continuing to work on our new show, which for now we will refer to as "Anime Spoof" because we don't have a finalized title yet. Rest assured that it will be awesome.
Forums and chatbox are open again. Please let us know what you think of the latest ZMT.
Read On | 6 Replies | Post Reply Dearest PaperDemonMedia fans,Posted on Oct 28, 2008 10:34 am by SusieDearest PaperDemonMedia fans,
Since moving in with my fiance a year ago (i just got engaged last month, yay!) I've been spending much of my evenings watching tv and/or playing video games. It's very easy to come home from a long day of work and sit in front of the tv and veg.
It's been tough for me to find the time to work on any of my multimedia projects. This includes our new show, ZMT, and Surviving Together. Because of my lack of time over the last several months, I haven't even talked to the rest of the staff about the new show much. PaperDemon.com, my most active and successful project has also not been getting the attention it deserves. I also have other web site projects that I have committed to working on over the next year or so. Not to mention that I have to start planning my wedding.
At this point, I should be telling myself to cancel some projects. But I'm not going to do that. I want my cake and be able to eat it too. Including all the tasty frosting and sprinkles. I'm telling all of you now that I'm going to change my habbits and get back to working on the things that give me the most pride.
At the moment, I am finishing up a costume for my fiance for Halloween. After Halloween, I will kick it into high gear and catch up on all the website work that I've been needing to do for PD and my other site projects. Once that's done, I'll upgrade PaperDemonMedia.com to have all the latest and greatest of my software packages.
Once those major items are completed, likely the middle to end of next year, I will return to working on my multimedia projects including the new show that the staff started working on late last year.
Until we are ready to commit again to a regular schedule of episode posting, I will be closing the chat box and forums to avoid abuse. But please, still stay on our mailing list so that we can notify you of new episode releases. Consider all PDM projects officially on hold until further notice.

Dan Hummel, Micheal Toews, and I will be attending Anime Expo this year the weekend of July 4th in Los Angeles California. If you will be attending, be sure to look out for us. We wont be hosting any panels or events or anything, but we shouldn't be too hard to spot. Just look for me dressed as Link from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Here's a photo of us from FanimeCon in San Jose, Ca

7:49 pm Jul 13, 10wow can't believe i still got my account on here. its been a while 3:52 pm May 21, 10Hi folks. thank you for your comments. I've posted a news post that will hopefully address some of the concerns. 8:24 pm May 20, 10i what to know when surviving together well be posted 1:13 pm May 17, 10Hey susie i dont know if you read these, i been a fan of your ZMT probably way back when Spring was brand new, i really enjoyed your episodes with it. but im not meaning to be an asshole or anything but. you really killed the ending off, im guessing the guy who plays as zarbon never made it back, but some of us i hope thought you were gonna one day pick it back up as a crew, i mean you guys were a great set. the acting and the animations were brilliant. i guess you lost motivation for this project, i was really hoping for something... better? I hope you reconsider to do ZMT again with the originals, i have to admit, i got bored after Nappas hosting more than 3 times. But hey, its only an animation. Hope your doing well susie. Please reconsider the series ending as a dream or something, some people really loved this animation. 2:12 pm Apr 23, 10Hmmm.
The series- awesome.
The end-
Really sucked.
Great work, for the most part. 2:10 pm Apr 10, 10Hmm... I would be liying if I said that I wasn't disappointed by the final two episodes of Zarbon's Masterpiece Theater. Sigh... 2:10 pm Apr 10, 10Hmm... I would be liying if I said that I wasn't disappointed by the final two episodes of Zarbon's Masterpiece Theater. Sigh... 11:20 am Mar 13, 10ermmm, yea... 11:11 pm Jan 10, 10Ill just say I agree with the people before. Though I do appreciate on some level the whole 'Finally finish all this trouble' mentality of killing everyone in the finale... I still kinda hoped for something more... together. Still, I appreciate the work all of you have done, and thank you for the memories. 1:55 pm Jan 10, 10Seriously I've watched ZMPT for years now and the way you ended it was just hasty. You can't just kill off every character at once and call it an "epic finale." I was actually expecting a clever in-depth interview with post-DBZ fame Goku. Not a brief cameo after the credits. I know you're trying to get out a serious piece like surviving together, but is it worth alienating all your fans in the process? 2:04 pm Jan 9, 10It sure has felt like a long time since anything has moved here. I've been a big fan for a long time, just never said anything. And I've been wondering for awhile lately if PDM is at a halt until further notice. 10:30 pm Nov 13, 09Hey, I'm a big fan but the finale really sucked. It's a really stupid and insulting way for the series to end. Of course the creator can do whatever they want with their series; but that doesn't mean anyone has to like it. Why didn't you end the episode as a dream sequence?
btw- Susie would get the death penalty for all those murders. 9:27 pm Oct 29, 09Is it over? Well that's depressing. When is surviving together finally going to come out? 4:26 pm Oct 22, 09wow its been a long time since i been on here 11:38 pm Oct 21, 09You know on that last episode...for a split second I thought you were my sister...who scares the living shit out of me.
But you're not so it was funny as hell 11:32 pm Oct 21, 09OMG, I loved the last episode...I couldn't help but bang my head to the music and the carnage ROFL 7:14 pm Oct 20, 09final 2 episodes sucked so much fuckin dick 3:42 pm Oct 19, 09end was awkward... 11:59 pm Oct 9, 09I remember when i first saw zarbons masterpiece back in 2005 then ended in 2009. I enjoyed the videos 11:54 am Oct 3, 09you should have had goku in the last episode.. 3:51 pm Sep 21, 09And if I'm being a little "spoilery" in my comment, please feel free to delete it. 3:50 pm Sep 21, 09I thought the ending was good, but not great.
I don't mind the way it ended as much as I have some concerns about what precisely caused "Susie" to break. She's been through worse, and it seems odd for her to snap for the reasons she did.
I do have to admit I love the creative way you got Zarbon back in for the finale. It's a shame we couldn't have had him "really" back, but you worked well with what you had, and I liked the dual layers of how Zarbon just wouldn't die. And it's better than anything I can do, so I'm not complaining. Thank you for entertaining us through the years. 7:18 pm Sep 14, 09omg its been several years. ballin! 3:26 pm Sep 10, 09.....wow. 10:39 am Sep 10, 09VERY mature Susie, one bad party and boom you go and kill everybody. You caould have at least waited for the booze (If you haven't realized yet I'm joking this has been a funny show and I hate to see it end). Keep on keeping on susieand good luck with everything else in you life. 11:03 pm Sep 9, 09I'm still planning to do Surviving Together but I'm planning my wedding and working on our new show now. Not sure when ST is going to get back into the picture. 8:54 pm Sep 9, 09Thats good to know! 8:42 pm Sep 9, 09not to me, but I've been out of touch for a while, something im looking to rectify. 8:34 pm Sep 9, 09lol wow just wow, has suzie mentioned anything about doing Surviving Together?
